Darling Prabhas meets actor Rajendra Prasad after tragic loss of his daughter
Hyderabad: Rebel Star Prabhas, affectionately known as Darling, met veteran actor Rajendra Prasad to express his heartfelt condolences for the tragic loss of his daughter, Gayatri.
Rajendra Prasad is mourning the sudden passing of his daughter, who died on the night of October 4, 2024, at the age of 38. She suffered a heart stroke and was admitted to AIG Hospital after complaining of chest pain. Despite receiving treatment, she unfortunately succumbed to her condition.
The last rites were held on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Rajendra Prasad, renowned for his remarkable contributions to Telugu cinema, is in a state of shock following the loss of his only daughter.
The film industry and fans have expressed their condolences to Rajendra Prasad and his family during this difficult time. Veteran actor Brahmanandam became emotional while visiting Rajendra Prasad at his home to offer his condolences. Former minister Yerrabelli Dayakar also visited to share his sympathies.
Tollywood star Jr. NTR took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to express his sorrow, stating, “The passing of Gayatri, daughter of my closest friend Rajendra Prasad ji, is incredibly sad. I pray that her soul rests in peace. My deepest condolences to Rajendra Prasad ji and his family.”

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu expressed his shock, saying, “I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Gayatri, the daughter of veteran actor Rajendra Prasad, due to a heart attack. It is truly unfortunate to lose someone so young. My deepest condolences to the family during this time of grief. I pray that God grants peace to Gayatri’s soul.”
Other prominent celebrities in the industry, including actors Venkatesh, Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, and his wife Surekha, also visited Rajendra Prasad at his home to express their condolences.
