Tolichowki Pothole Road Issues

Hyderabad: The road leading to the Tolichowki passport office is infested with life-threatening potholes, creating an urgent safety hazard for residents and commuters. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation must swiftly address this issue to avert potential accidents and loss of life.

While speaking to Hyderabad Mail, a resident and responsible citizen named TG Citizen and an admin of TG Citizen on a social media platform didn’t disclose his name. He shared, “This road connects to the Tolichowki Passport Office. I don’t know why officials don’t voluntarily attend to such deadly potholes until someone reports them.”

TG Citizen mentioned that unfortunately, authorities didn’t take action on the reported issues raised by commuters. Most of the issues were not even acknowledged.

He said that some of my issues only receive a reply for the sake of being online, but they don’t actually address the problem.

“I request the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to ensure that the repair works are done immediately,” the citizen said.

When the concerned department is not doing their work, traffic police who face the public stepped into action and did their part by filling the potholes, said TG Citizen.

The Miyapur Traffic Police recently filled the potholes on the road in front of Bawarchi Hotel and Pragathi Nagar Kaman towards Bachupally Road. It’s commendable that the traffic police took it upon themselves to address this issue, considering the hardships faced by the citizens. Their proactive approach is highly appreciable, as they are actively contributing to the betterment of society.

TG Citizen took to ‘X,’ previously called ‘Twitter,’ and posted the following: “Dear @GHMCOnline, is this the road to commute? @CRMP_KNR_KZ1. It’s beside the flyover towards the #tolichowki passport office! #Hyderabad #Teamghmc, @swachhhyd, @Team_Road_Squad, @vinay_vangala, @CommissionrGHMC. Ask the concerned ZC to review the road conditions.”

GHMC replied to the TG Citizen’s post: “Dear citizen, the area engineer (AE) has been informed to attend to the patchwork and update the status. @BandaEe18 @DC_JubileeHills.”
