Traffic diversions in Gachibowli for Pink Power Run 2024

Hyderabad: The Pink Power Run 2024 is set to take place on September 29, 2024 (Sunday), from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The event will feature runs of 10 km, 5 km, and 3 km, starting at the G.M.C. Balayogi Main Stadium and covering various routes through the city, including IIIT Junction, Wipro Junction, and TNGOs Colony.
Event Details:
10 km run:
Start: Gachibowli Main Stadium (Gate No. 01)
Route: Right Turn at IIIT Junction, ISB, Wipro Junction U-turn, TNGOs Colony Road U-turn, returning to IIIT Junction and back to Gachibowli Stadium.
5 km run:
Start: Gachibowli Main Stadium (Gate No. 01)
Route: Right Turn at IIIT Junction, U-turn at ISB, returning to Gachibowli Stadium.
3 km run:
Start: Gachibowli Main Stadium (Gate No. 01)
Route: Right Turn at IIIT Junction, U-turn at Pullela Gopichand Academy, returning to Gachibowli Stadium.
Traffic diversion points:
To ensure smooth traffic flow during the event, the following traffic advisories and diversions will be in effect from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.:
- Gachibowli Junction, IIIT Junction, Indranagar: Traffic from Mehdipatnam and ORR will be diverted to Kondapur, then via Radisson Junction and Heritage Junction towards Lingampalli.
- Financial District, Gowlidoddi, Gopanpally Thanda: Traffic heading towards Gachibowli will be diverted from Wipro Junction to Nanakramguda village, merging into ORR.
- Lingampally, HCU, Masjid Banda T Junction: Traffic will be redirected from DLF Junction to Radisson Junction, then towards Mehdipatnam.
- Kondapur, Kothaguda, Botanical Junction: Traffic from these areas will be diverted from Botanical Junction to Heritage Junction towards Lingampalli.
Heavy vehicle restrictions:
Heavy vehicles, including trucks, lorries, and water tankers, will not be permitted on the designated routes from 5:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. within the Gachibowli Traffic Police limits.
The general public is advised to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with the Traffic Police to ensure a smooth and successful event.
