EAGLE team raids former MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy’s farmhouse; 2 grams cocaine seized in Moinabad
HYDERABAD: The Telangana police’s EAGLE anti-narcotics team raided the farmhouse of former BRS MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy in Moinabad on Saturday and seized 2 grams of cocaine, officials said.
The farmhouse, located on the outskirts of Hyderabad, came under search as part of an anti-drug operation by the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE).
Police deployed sniffer dogs to check the premises for hidden narcotic substances.
The team continued the search for several hours to find out whether more drugs were stored at the property.
Former MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy and Eluru MP Putta Mahesh Kumar were present at the farmhouse during the raid.
Police have not yet confirmed any arrests or the recovery of additional contraband. The investigation is ongoing.
