Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ to release on May 9, 2025

Hyderabad: The highly anticipated period action film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Pawan Kalyan, is now set to release on May 9, 2025. Initially slated for a March 28 release, the film’s release has been delayed due to ongoing post-production work.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a big-budget action drama set in the 17th century during the Mughal Empire. Pawan Kalyan plays the titular role of Veera Mallu, an outlaw and warrior who seeks justice and fights for the oppressed. The film also stars Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, and Nora Fatehi. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyothi Krishna, the film promises a high-octane tale of valor and rebellion.

The film will release in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, and is expected to make a significant impact at the global box office.
In a statement from the official social media handles, the team confirmed the revised release date and said, “The battle is set, and the fight for justice and dharma will be unstoppable! Hari Hara Veera Mallu charges into battle at breakneck speed, and nothing will alter the hunt this time. A saga of valor is all set to ignite the screens on May 9th, 2025.”
In addition, the first single of the film, titled Maata Vinaali in Telugu, Kekkanum Guruve in Tamil, Kelkkanam Guruve in Malayalam, Maathu Kelayya in Kannada, and Baat Nirali in Hindi, was released on January 6, 2025, at 9:06 a.m. The track, sung by Pawan Kalyan himself, is composed by Oscar-winning music director MM Keeravaani, with lyrics by Penchal Das (Telugu), P.A. Vijay (Tamil), Mankombu Gopalakrishnan (Malayalam), Aazad Varadaraj (Kannada), and Abbas Tyrewala (Hindi).
This release marks Pawan Kalyan’s return to music, as he has previously lent his voice to several tracks in films like Thammudu, Kushi, Johnny, Attarintiki Daredi, and Agnyaathavaasi.
