Pawan Kalyan rally awaits court nod in Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana continues to witness uncertainty over the proposed rally of Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan on Monday.
Police have already denied permission for the meeting, citing concerns over possible law-and-order issues and the observance of Telangana State Formation Day.
Jana Sena moves High Court for permission
Following the denial, Jana Sena leaders approached the High Court seeking permission to hold the meeting.
Police said tensions could arise because of State Formation Day programmes and related gatherings, leading to the rejection of the request.
Party leaders remain confident of favourable order
Jana Sena leaders expressed confidence that the court would permit the meeting.
The party has already completed arrangements for the event under the banner of Telangana Nava Nirmana Sankalpa. Party workers are awaiting the court’s decision on permission for the gathering.
