Pawan Kalyan moves Delhi High Court for personality rights

New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has approached the Delhi High Court seeking protection of his personality rights. He asked the court to restrain social media platforms that misuse his photos and videos through unauthorised content.
Actor cites growing violations on social media
In his petition, he said several platforms have repeatedly circulated material using his likeness without consent. He requested directions to prevent further misuse and to take action against violators.
Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna earlier secured similar orders
Senior actors Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna previously obtained similar protection orders from the court. Pawan Kalyan has now sought comparable safeguards as digital misuse continues to rise.
Celebrities turn to courts amid online threats
The petition notes that the trend is more visible in Bollywood, where actors frequently approach courts to secure their rights. With the rapid spread of social media content, many film personalities are seeking legal protection to safeguard their identity and privacy.
