Owaisi slams BJP candidate MadhaviLatha for provocative gesture towards Mosque in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad MP and AIMIM President, Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi, criticized K. MadhaviLatha, BJP’s Hyderabad MP candidate, after a video surfaced showing her making an arrow gesture towards the Siddi Amber Bazaar Mosque during the Ram Navami procession in Old City.
Probably the most cringe candidate from #Telangana this election season.
While I am always thrilled about more women entering politics, I think the state will be better off without someone like her.
Everything about her feels extremely fake! 🙏🏼 Didn’t hear one sensible word… pic.twitter.com/JnElmRq2yl— Revathi (@revathitweets) April 18, 2024
The video of MadhaviLatha’s gesture towards mosque caused controversy and went viral on social media. Owaisi alleged that the BJP and RSS are attempting to disrupt peace in Hyderabad with such provocative gestures. He questioned the silence of the Election Commission, Commissioner of Police Hyderabad, DEO, and CEO.
