Owaisi is leading from Hyderabad parliament seat with more than 15,000 votes

Hyderabad: Asaduddin Owaisi from All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen(AIMIM) is leading in the Hyderabad parliamentary segment. He has garnered a total of 1,04,347 votes, putting him ahead in the race. Following behind is Madhavi Latha Kompella from the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP), who has received 88,886 votes, trailing by a margin of 15461 votes.

In third place, Mohammed Waliullah Sameer from Indian National congress(INC) has secured 11,633 votes trailing behind the two leading candidates. The vote counting process in the Hyderabad parliamentary segment is being closely observed by the nation, given the history in this region.

It should be noted that the Hyderabad parliament constituency consists of Seven Assembly segments- Malakpet, Karwan, Goshamahal, Charminar, Chandrayangutta, Yakuthpura and Bahadurpura.
