Asaduddin Owaisi, Ktr, & Bandi Sanjay Support Operation Sindoor Strikes On Terror Camps In Pakistan

Hyderabad: Political leaders across party lines in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have expressed strong support for Operation Sindoor, the Indian military’s pre-dawn strike on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), carried out in retaliation for the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam.

AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi welcomed the strikes, stating on X, “I welcome the surgical strikes carried out by our defence forces on terror camps in Pakistan. The Pakistani deep state must be taught a tough lesson so that another Pahalgam never happens again. Pakistan’s terror infrastructure must be completely destroyed. Jai Hind! #OperationSindoor.”

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said the strikes were a justified and necessary response. “The Indian Defence Forces have launched #OperationSindoor in a decisive response to the heinous Pahalgam terror attack. Such actions reflect the nation’s unwavering strength in safeguarding its sovereignty. We all stand by you. Jai Hind,” he posted.

BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao praised the armed forces for their precision. “Saluting the amazing Indian Armed Forces for their precision strikes on terrorist camps in PoK and Pakistan. Wishing them more power and strength in eliminating terrorist infrastructure. Jai Hind. #OperationSindoor.”

BRS leader Harish Rao stated, “When terrorism strikes at our peace, we respond with unity and courage. India will always stand tall. We are proud of our soldiers. Jai Hind! #OperationSindoor.”

Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar described the operation as swift and effective. “Operation Sindoor – precise, ruthless, and unforgiving. Pahalgam martyrs avenged. Proud of our bravehearts! Mera Bharat Mahaan. Jai Hind!”

Union Minister for Coal and Mines Kishan Reddy posted, “Bharat Mata Ki Jai! Har Har Mahadev, Jai Hind. #OperationSindoor.”

In the early hours of May 7, India launched Operation Sindoor, targeting nine suspected terror camps located in Pakistan and PoJK. The strikes were carried out at 1:44 AM IST and focused on locations including Bahawalpur, Muzaffarabad, Kotli, and Muridke areas linked to terror outfits Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.

The military action came in response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, where 25 Indian citizens and one Nepali national were killed.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the strikes were carefully planned to avoid civilian casualties and did not target Pakistani military facilities. All Indian aircraft involved in the operation returned safely.

More information is expected from defence officials later in the day.
