Numaish ticket ‘price hike’ to pinch visitors’ pockets
Hyderabad: It’s that time of the year again when everyone looks forward to the opening of Hyderabad’s famous Numaish. The 84th All India Industrial Exhibition, which is visited by lakhs of people, is all set to begin on January 01, 2025.
The 46-day extravaganza will come to an end on February 25, 2025. This year, the annual trade fair will feature over 2,000 stalls set up by traders from different parts of the country.
The exhibition gates will remain open for visitors from 4 pm to 10.30 pm on weekdays while on weekends and holidays the visitors can extend their stay by half-an-hour until 11 pm. Traditionally, the Numaish will observe a ‘Ladies Day’ and a ‘Children Special Day’ for women and children.
The Exhibition Society has decided to increase the entrance ticket price to Rs. 50, marking an increase of Rs. 10. Earlier, the ticket price for Numaish entry was Rs. 40. Meanwhile, the managing committee is coordinating with the police to ensure safety and well being of the visitors.
