Hyderabadโs famous Numaish gets new opening date for THIS reason

Hyderabad: The All India Industrial Exhibition Society has announced that the Numaish will be thrown open for people on January 3, 2025 Friday instead of January 1, 2025, Wednesday. Traditionally, the Numaish is kicked off on the new yearโs day.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Exhibition Society Secretary, B Surender Reddy said the inauguration of the 84th All India Industrial Exhibition, popularly known as Numaish, was deferred to January 3 keeping in view of the seven day national mourning declared by the union government after the demise of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.

Reddy said that the society is fully prepared to conduct the 45-day extravaganza. He also informed that the safety measures for the visitors are in place and the local administration is extending full support for the smooth conduct of the event.
This year, the Numaish or annual trade fair will feature over 2,000 stalls set up by traders from different parts of the country. The exhibition gates will remain open for visitors from 4 pm to 10.30 pm on weekdays while on weekends and holidays the visitors can extend their stay by half-an-hour until 11 pm. Traditionally, the Numaish will observe a โLadies Dayโ and a โChildren Special Dayโ for women and children.
Meanwhile, the Exhibition Society has decided to increase the entrance ticket price to Rs. 50, marking an increase of Rs. 10. Earlier, the ticket price for Numaish entry was Rs. 40. Meanwhile, the managing committee is coordinating with the police to ensure safety and well being of the visitors.
