Nitish Reddy hits century; USA–New Zealand match abandoned

HYDERABAD: Telugu origin batter Nitish Reddy scripted history with a maiden Under-19 World Cup century as the United States of America’s Group B match against New Zealand was abandoned due to rain in the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup.

Reddy scored an unbeaten 117 off 133 balls, hitting 12 fours and one six, to become the first player to register a century for the USA at the Under-19 level.
