Electric shock kills woman in Kubheer mandal
TELANGANA: A 30 year old woman died after being electrocuted while using an electric water heater at Dodardna-1 Thanda village in Kubheer mandal on Friday.
Police said Rathod Vanitha Bai came in contact with a live electric wire while heating water using the heater at her residence. She collapsed after receiving the shock and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
Doctors declared her brought dead on arrival. Police shifted the body for post mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.
Vanitha is survived by her husband, two sons and a daughter. Her sudden death triggered grief among family members and villagers.
Based on a complaint lodged by her husband, police registered a case under relevant sections and launched an investigation. Officials said they were examining whether faulty wiring or negligence led to the incident.
