Nims Hyderabad To Hold Walk In Interview For Medical Officers, Senior Residents On March 17

Hyderabad: Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, has announced a walk-in interview for the recruitment of Medical Officers and Senior Residents in the Department of Emergency Medicine. The interview is scheduled for March 17, 2025, with separate timings for each position. Medical Officers will be interviewed from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., while Senior Residents will be interviewed between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Interested candidates must download the application form from the official NIMS website, www.nims.edu.in, and submit a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 5000. The payment should be made online to the NIMS Academic account (No. 50200082261426, HDFC Bank, IFSC Code: HDFC0004290).

For the role of Medical Officers in Emergency Medicine, applicants must possess an MBBS degree. Senior Residents in Emergency Medicine should have an MD or DNB in General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Pulmonary Medicine, or General Surgery. Senior Resident positions in Anaesthesiology require an MD or DM, while candidates applying for Senior Residents in Radiology & Imageology must hold an MD or DNB. All qualifications must be recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

In addition to the completed application form, candidates are required to submit a PowerPoint presentation summarizing their academic background and work experience, limited to five slides. The monthly remuneration for Medical Officers is Rs. 50,000, while Senior Residents will receive a consolidated amount of Rs. 1,21,641.

The interviews will be held at the Director’s Chambers, 1st Floor, NIMS, Hyderabad. Candidates are advised to bring all necessary certificates along with the application form. Applications that do not meet the required qualifications or fail to submit the required documents will be rejected.

NIMS has stated that it reserves the right to either fill or not fill the vacancies based on the outcome of the interviews.
