HYDERABAD: An anesthesia postgraduate student at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) in Hyderabad was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Friday morning.
Police begin probe into suspected death of PG medical student
The deceased, identified as Nithin, had reported for duty on Thursday night. Hospital staff discovered him lying unresponsive in the operation theatre the following morning. Police arrived at the scene after being alerted by hospital authorities and have launched an investigation into the cause of death.
Officials said the exact circumstances leading to Nithin’s death are yet to be determined. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
