Niloufer restaurant loses fire safety clearance

HYDERABAD: Fire department officials have suspended the Fire No Objection Certificate (NOC) of the Niloufer building in Banjara Hills after finding alleged violations of fire safety norms.
Rooftop restaurant found without required permissions
During an inspection of the building, officials found that a restaurant was being operated on the rooftop without the required approvals. The inspection also revealed that activities at the premises were not in compliance with fire safety regulations.
Fire NOC suspended with immediate effect
Director General of Fire Services Vikram Singh Mann ordered the immediate suspension of the building’s Fire NOC. Officials said action was taken after identifying violations of prescribed safety norms.
The Fire Department warned that strict action would continue against buildings that fail to comply with fire safety regulations.
