Hyderabad: Fans of Nandamuri Balakrishna were eagerly waiting for the release of their matinee idol’s recent film ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ on OTT platform. Netflix, the online streaming giant announced its OTT release date on their Instagram account while sharing a poster of the film featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, and Shraddha Srinath, however, the photo of Urvashi Rautela was missing.

“We would just like to say pranaam maharaj. Watch Daaku Maharaaj, out on 21 Feb on Netflix!” the online streaming giant captioned its Insta post.

This ‘oversight’ sparked a stream of reactions on social media as Urvashi had done her best to promote the movie. “The best promoter of the movie isn’t even in the poster,” a social media user quipped. “India’s first woman to be removed from the poster of a 105+ crore film,” another joked while the third commented, “Where is miss rolex?”

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Netflix has deleted the scenes of Urvashi from the film ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ before streaming it online. Following the strong reaction from the actress fans, the online streaming giant shared a slide with the photos of characters in the film with the caption, “Meet the forces behind the fear”.
