Attapur police arrest two accused in Chintalmet house theft case in Hyderabad

Hyderabad : Police arrested a man from Nellore for allegedly spreading false propaganda against a High Court judge.

Investigators said the accused, identified as Damodar, circulated claims that the wife of Bandi Bhagirath would be appointed chairman if bail was granted to him.

False claims circulated on social media

Police said the campaign attempted to create misinformation around judicial proceedings and appointments. Officials alleged that the propaganda was intended to mislead the public and target the judge handling the case.

Police begin inquiry into circulation network

The accused was taken into custody for questioning. Police said further inquiry is under way to identify others involved in spreading the content.
