HYDERABAD: Residents of Narapally, Pocharam are sounding the alarm over a worsening infrastructure crisis that is deepening public hardship near a vital healthcare center. The neighborhood behind the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Narapally, Pocharam, has urgently petitioned authorities, describing the hazardous condition of their sole access Narapally road and the persistent silence from municipal officials despite their repeated calls for help.

The residents’ plea reveals the harsh realities they face each day. When it rains, the unpaved Narapally  road transforms into a treacherous stretch, slick with mud and prone to accidents, especially for bikers. The neglect stings even more because this hazardous path lies just behind a crucial health center.Phc In Narapally1

“Patients visiting PHC Narapally, ambulances, elderly citizens, pregnant women, and school-going children face severe hardship,” said local resident Narasimha Rao. The poor condition impedes not only daily commuters but also sanitation vehicles and emergency services, while stagnant water leads to unhygienic conditions and mosquito breeding.

Seek CM’s intervention

“The residents have patiently waited and cooperated, but the continued lack of response from the concerned authorities has caused immense distress and disappointment,” the appeal notes, underscoring the community’s frustration after submitting multiple written requests, reminders, and personal representations that met with silence.

They have appealed to the Telangana Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, through Prajavani. Their requests are clear: immediate sanction for the Cement Concrete (CC) road work, necessary directives to GHMC officials for time-bound execution, and relief from the serious inconvenience and safety risks they endure daily.  Residents are now pinning their hopes on the CM’s leadership and commitment to public welfare.
