Nampally Station Fire Hits Jaipur Express Coaches

HYDERABAD: A fire broke out in two coaches of the Hyderabad–Jaipur Express at Nampally railway station on Friday evening. The incident occurred in the B1 and B2 coaches while the train was stationed at the platform.
Fire breaks out before scheduled departure
Railway officials said the train was scheduled to depart at 7.30pm, but smoke was noticed from the coaches around 6.20pm. Officials immediately alerted the fire department and the HYDRA control room.
HYDRA Disaster Response Force personnel and fire department staff rushed to the spot and brought the flames under control.
No passengers inside coaches during incident
No injuries were reported as there were no passengers inside the affected coaches at the time of the fire. Railway authorities are yet to announce the cause of the incident.
Officials said prompt action by railway staff, HYDRA teams and fire personnel prevented the blaze from spreading to other coaches.
