Major Disaster Averted: Oil Tanker Catches Fire at Nampally

Hyderabad: An oil tanker caught fire in Nampally on Wednesday afternoon. No loss of life was reported in the incident. Firefighters quickly responded to the emergency and brought the fire under control.

According to locals, a petrol tanker arrived at the HP fuel station near the Criminal Court road. The driver notices flames at the top of the tanker. Acting swiftly, he moved the tanker away from the petrol pump and thus avoided a major disaster. The authorities rushed to the site and cordoned off the connecting roads to ensure public safety. As a result, vehicular traffic came to a brief standstill near Ek Minar Masjid.
