Hyderabad traffic police divert traffic for Nampally ‘Fish Prasadam’ distribution
NAMPALLY: Hyderabad traffic police have issued traffic diversions in connection with the distribution of ‘Fish Prasadam’ at Exhibition Ground, Nampally, on June 8-9, 2024.
Moderate traffic congestion is expected on the roads around Exhibition Ground. The diversions mentioned below will be enforced in the surrounding area of Exhibition Ground, Nampally, and adjoining junctions as needed from June 8 at 12 a.m. to June 9, 2024, until 6 a.m.
The following diversions for parking and alighting will be implemented, if necessary, based on the local situation:
1. People arriving by four-wheelers from the Nampally side for Fish Prasadam will park their vehicles at Gruha Kalpa, Gagan Vihar & Chandra Vihar and proceed on foot towards Exhibition Ground Gate No. 2 for Fish Prasadam.
2. Those arriving for Fish Prasadam in buses/vans from M.J. Market will alight at Gandhi Bhavan Bus Stop. Buses/vans coming from Nampally will alight at Gruha Kalpa Bus Stop and proceed to Exhibition Ground Gate No. 2 for Fish Prasadam.
3. VIP car pass holders from M.J. Market will proceed towards Ajantha Gate, Gandhi Bhavan, and take a left turn towards Gate No. 1 and CWC Gate towards VIP Entry Gate. VIP car pass holders from Nampally will make a “U” turn at Gandhi Bhavan and take a left turn towards Gate No. 1 and CWC Gate towards VIP Entry Gate. Their vehicles will be parked in the VIP parking area.
4. After taking the Prasadam, VIP cars will exit from the VIP Gate, CWC Gate, and Adab Hotel, take a left turn, and proceed towards Nampally.
5. People arriving on 2-wheelers for Fish Prasadam from M.J. Market will park their vehicles at the Manoranjan Complex parking area. Two-wheelers coming from Nampally will park their vehicles on the left side of the road earmarked for 2-wheelers between Gruha Kalpa and the BJP Office.
6. Auto-alighting is arranged for people coming for Fish Prasadam in front of the Shezan Hotel, Bhavani Wines/Juvenile Court, and Excise Office. Parking areas for cars are allotted on the left side of the road.
7. Government vehicles (buses and vans) will be parked at MAM Girls Junior College, Nampally, Hyderabad.
8. Vehicles coming from the M.J. Market side will be diverted towards Abids, GPO Nampally, and Hyderabad.
9. Water tankers of HMWS and vehicles of the Fisheries Department bringing fish to the Exhibition Ground will be allowed from Gate No. 3.
10. Vehicles of voluntary organizations carrying food materials with valid passes will be allowed from Gate No. 3.
11. General traffic coming from the M.J. Bridge and Begum Bazar Chatri and proceeding towards Nampally will be diverted at Alaska towards Darusalam, Ek Minar, etc.
Hyderabad traffic police have appealed to citizens to take note of the above diversions and take alternate routes to reach their destinations.
