Nampally fire incident: Leader monitors situation, AIMIM MLC deployed for assistance

HYDERABAD: The fire incident in Nampally triggered concern across political circles on Friday, with a senior leader stating that he was in constant touch with officials overseeing rescue and relief operations at the site.
In a message, he said he had asked All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen member of the Legislative Council Rahmath Baig to remain present and extend all possible assistance to those affected by the blaze.
“Praying for the safety of all those trapped inside,” the leader said, adding that coordination with the local administration was ongoing to ensure quick evacuation and medical support.
Fire services personnel, police teams and ambulance services rushed to the spot in Nampally, where thick smoke was seen billowing from the building. Officials said efforts were focused on dousing the fire, preventing it from spreading to adjacent structures and safely evacuating occupants.
Preliminary information suggested that several people were inside the building when the fire broke out. However, authorities said the exact number of those trapped or injured would be confirmed only after search operations were completed.

Police cordoned off the surrounding area to regulate traffic and facilitate the movement of emergency vehicles. Senior officials from the fire services department were seen supervising operations on the ground.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. Officials said a detailed inquiry would be ordered once the situation was fully brought under control.
