Eight escape as car catches fire after crash on NH-65
NALGONDA: A car carrying eight persons overturned after hitting a road divider and caught fire at Gundrampally on the Hyderabad–Vijayawada National Highway (NH-65) on Saturday. The vehicle was completely gutted, but all occupants escaped unhurt.

The accident triggered a massive traffic jam on the busy stretch of the highway. Eyewitnesses said the Innova, heading from Hyderabad towards Vijayawada, went out of control before ramming into the central divider. The impact caused the vehicle to flip several times before it came to a halt on the roadside.
Bystanders rescue family from burning car
Motorists stopped to help the family inside the car and pulled everyone to safety before the flames engulfed the vehicle.
Chityala police registered a case and launched an investigation into the mishap.
