Nagarkurnool DEO denies rumours of CM Revanth Reddy’s voter registration in Achampet
HYDERABAD: The District Election Officer (DEO), Nagarkurnool, has rejected social media claims that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is registered as a voter in Achampet Assembly Constituency.
According to the DEO, A. Revanth Reddy is not enrolled as a voter in Achampet Assembly Constituency or anywhere else in Nagarkurnool district as of July 14, 2026. Therefore, the authority described the viral claims as false.
No case of dual enrolment
The DEO also clarified that there is no case of double voting or dual enrolment involving the Chief Minister in Nagarkurnool district.
Moreover, the authority said the Chief Minister has no voter registration in the district. As a result, no Enumeration Form was printed or distributed in his name during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
Public asked not to spread rumours
Meanwhile, the Collector and District Election Officer urged people not to believe or share unverified information on social media.
“It has come to our notice that false information is circulating on social media regarding the voter status of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri Anumula Revanth Reddy in Nagarkurnool district,” the clarification said.
The Collector and District Election Officer issued the clarification on July 14, 2026.
