HYDERABAD: Actor Nagarjuna has withdrawn the criminal defamation case filed against minister Konda Surekha.
Surekha expresses regret for earlier remarks
Surekha posted on X on Wednesday that she regretted the comments she had earlier made about Nagarjuna and his family. “I did not make those remarks with any intention to hurt Nagarjuna or his family. I never intended to trouble them or harm their reputation,” she said.
Minister withdraws her comments
“If there is any mistake in the comments I made about Nagarjuna’s family, I regret it. I withdraw my remarks,” she added in the post.
Actor withdraws case after apology
Following her statement, Nagarjuna said he was withdrawing the defamation case he had filed against the minister.
