Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills police arrested on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, an individual in connection with the brutal murder of a woman in Yousufguda. The crime took place on September 30, 2024, between 5:40 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The accused has been identified as Shaik Javeed (also known as Javeed Khan and Aamer Ali), is a 34-year-old resident of Flat No. 401, 3rd Floor, Usha Kiran Arcades Apartment, Shivam Road, Vidyanagar, Hyderabad and working as an auto driver. The victim, Sudharani, was a 44-year-old woman living at Plot No. 36, 2nd Floor, Navodaya Colony, beside Ganapathi Complex, Yousufguda.

Following a thorough investigation, police apprehended Shaik Javeed on October 8, 2024, at approximately 4:00 a.m. near Kranthi Nagar Colony, Chengicherla. During interrogation, Javeed confessed to the crime, revealing that his motive was rooted in financial gain, revenge, and personal vendetta. He led police to recover crucial evidence, including a blood-stained knife, stolen jewelry, and documents. Authorities also seized his two-wheeler DIO bike and S-Cross car.

According to the investigation, Javeed’s grievances started from a financial dispute and a longstanding personal grudge. Originally from Kazipet and working as an auto driver, Javeed had known the victim since 2022. He had invested Rs. 2.8 lakhs in her chit fund business but claimed that Sudharani failed to return his investment and attempted to implicate him in false cases. Javeed alleged that the victim had threatened to commit suicide and falsely accuse him if he insisted on recovering his money. He also stated that, four months prior, she orchestrated an assault against him involving four other individuals.

Javeed has been remanded to judicial custody, and the case is currently being investigated by K. Venkateswara Reddy, SHO of Jubilee Hills Police Station, Hyderabad.

Earlier, it was reported that the wife of a Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) was murdered by some unknown persons on Monday evening in Hyderabad.

The deceased woman has been identified as 44-year-old Sudha Rani who was staying with her RMP doctor husband Uma Maheshwar Rao in Navodaya colony of Yellareddyguda. Rao is running his Amma clinic in the same locality. The Jubilee Hills police said after returning from school both the kids went to take tuition classes and their father to his clinic which is located near the temple in Yellareddyguda.

After returning home, the children found their mother killed and was lying on the floor in a pool of blood. They alerted their father Uma Maheshwar Rao who immediately closed down his clinic and rushed home.
