Mulugu tyre shop owner’s daughter selected as DSP

MULUGU: Determination, not poverty, decides success. This was proved by Allepu Maunika from Mallampalli mandal centre in Mulugu district.
Maunika’s father, Sambaiah, runs a tyre puncture shop to support the family. With perseverance, Maunika cleared the Telangana State Group-1 exam in her very first attempt. She wrote the exam in Telugu medium and secured the 315th rank.
In the results announced by the state government, she has been allotted the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
