Motorist booked for abusing traffic during vehicle checking drive at Jubilee Hills
Hyderabad: A viral video shows a man confronting a traffic police officer when stopped for riding without a helmet and attempting to avoid a vehicle checking drive near Jubilee Hills on Tuesday.
The incident was videographed and is now widely shared across social media. A private employee from Gajularamaram was passing through the posh locality. After noticing a routine vehicle inspection near the checkpoint, he attempted to avoid vehicle checking but got intercepted by the police officers.
Subsequently, the police officials looked up his vehicle registration number on their electronic device. They found that the rider had eight pending challans, which included wrong-side driving and not wearing a helmet. The bike’s number plate was also not proper.
When the police officials asked him to show the relevant vehicle documents, the motorist allegedly started abusing them and, pushed his bike on one of the policemen nearby and tried to flee the scene. The traffic police officers have registered a case against the accused and is investigating.
