Mohan Bhagwat meets film personalities in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: Mohan Bhagwat, chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, met several film personalities in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Meeting at Manikonda residence
Bhagwat, who was in the city to attend various programmes, held the meeting at the Manikonda residence of actor Venkatesh Daggubati.
Those present included Suresh Babu Daggubati, Rana Daggubati, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Nani, Ram Pothineni and Varun Tej.
Focus on culture-led storytelling
Sources said Bhagwat suggested that filmmakers make movies that reflect Indian culture and choose stories that highlight the country’s stature.
Directors Harish Shankar, Anil Ravipudi, Trivikram Srinivas and Meher Ramesh, along with producers Mythri Ravi and Sahu Garapati, also attended.
