Mohan Babu stuns in powerful avatar in Ajay Bhupathi’s ‘Srinivasa Mangapuram’
HYDERABAD: The makers of the upcoming Telugu film ‘Srinivasa Mangapuram’ have unveiled the first look of veteran actor Mohan Babu, who joins the cast in a powerful role as Venkatappayya Naidu.
Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, known for his gritty narratives, the film has generated buzz with the introduction of fresh faces Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni (grandson of superstar Krishna and nephew of Mahesh Babu) and Rasha Thadani (daughter of Raveena Tandon), who makes her Telugu debut after the viral success of the ‘Uyi Amma’ track.
The newly released poster shows Mohan Babu in a ferocious avatar that promises raw authority and vintage mass appeal. He appears as Venkatappayya Naidu, a village patriarch whose presence commands respect and fear.
With salt-and-pepper hair, a thick moustache, and a cold, stern expression full of suppressed fire, Mohan Babu exudes intensity as he walks forward with unshakeable resolve. His simple white kurta-dhoti gives him the aura of a traditional leader, while gold chains, a wristwatch, and a bracelet add touches of understated power.
He is followed by a group of men, some armed with rifles, emphasizing Venkatappayya Naidu’s authoritative leadership.
Mohan Babu has joined the cast, and filming for ‘Srinivasa Mangapuram’ is underway. The film is presented by Ashwini Dutt and produced by P Kiran under the Chandamama Kathalu banner.
The film features a skilled technical team, including National Award-winning composer GV Prakash Kumar for the soundtrack and cinematographer Jayakrishna ISC. Editing is by Madhav Kumar Gullapati, production design by Sahi Suresh, and action choreography by Real Sathish.
With Ajay Bhupathi directing, new talent in lead roles, and Mohan Babu in a complex character, ‘Srinivasa Mangapuram’ aims to deliver a compelling cinematic experience.
