MMC Commissioner orders daily garbage clearance during Begumpet inspection
HYDERABAD: The Municipal Maintenance Commissioner (MMC) on Tuesday inspected sanitation and footpath conditions in Begumpet and directed officials to strengthen daily cleaning operations and improve public spaces.
The inspection was conducted in the presence of the Additional Commissioner (Sanitation), Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Engineer, Assistant Engineer and representatives of Ramky.
The Commissioner instructed officials to ensure the daily clearance of garbage and litter from roads and footpaths to maintain cleanliness across the locality.
He also directed officials to maximise the use of mechanised cleaning equipment to improve the efficiency of sanitation operations.
Officials were further instructed to remove all event banners and flex boards immediately after programmes to keep roads and footpaths clean, obstruction-free and visually appealing.
The Commissioner said clean streets reflect responsible governance and emphasised that maintaining public spaces requires sustained civic responsibility and coordinated efforts by all stakeholders.
