Miyapur woman, lover held for husband’s murder

HYDERABAD: A woman and her alleged lover have been taken into custody for allegedly murdering her husband in Hyderabad’s Miyapur and burying his body near the Maharashtra border after transporting it from the city.
Missing complaint raises police suspicion
The incident took place in November last year, but key details emerged during the police investigation. After the murder, the woman approached Miyapur police station and lodged a complaint claiming that her husband had gone missing.
Police registered a case and continued their investigation.
Call records expose alleged conspiracy
Investigators grew suspicious after finding inconsistencies during the probe. They examined the call records of both the missing man and his wife and found that she had been in frequent contact with another man.
Further investigation revealed that the two had allegedly conspired to kill the woman’s husband. Police have taken both suspects into custody.
Body to be brought back to Hyderabad
According to police sources, the victim’s body was buried near the Maharashtra border. Efforts are under way to exhume the body and bring it to Hyderabad for further legal and forensic procedures.
