19 Year Old Miss India Nandini Gupta Arrives In Hyderabad For Miss World 2025

Hyderabad: Miss India Nandini Gupta and Miss Mexico Maryely Leal Cervantes have arrived in Hyderabad to participate in the 72nd Miss World pageant. They were welcomed with traditional Indian hospitality, including garlands, tilak, and cultural performances that highlighted Telangana’s heritage.

Nandini Gupta, 19, from Kota, Rajasthan, who was crowned Femina Miss India World 2023, will represent India at the Miss World 2025 competition.

Meanwhile, Actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood was also welcomed by Telangana State Government officials with traditional honors. Known for his philanthropic efforts, Sonu Sood expressed gratitude for the warm reception and the public’s affection.

Miss World officials Irene Gasa Serra, Kwannalyana Ratanaphol Peters, Ana Plz Piqueras De Alba, Susana Teixeira Ferraz, and Miss France Agathe Lou Cauet were similarly greeted with a grand welcome, highlighting Telangana’s role as host state and its emphasis on showcasing local culture.

Miss World 2025 Schedule in Telangana:

1. Inauguration Ceremony
May 10, 5:00 PM – Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad
Delegates from 116 countries will attend the cultural opening ceremony.

2. Buddhist Spiritual Tour
May 12 – Nagarjuna Sagar, Buddhavanam
28 contestants from Asia will visit the Buddhist theme park.

3. Hyderabad Heritage Walk
May 13 – Charminar, Laad Bazaar
All 116 contestants will explore Hyderabad’s historical landmarks.

4. Welcome Dinner
May 13, 6:00 PM – Chowmahalla Palace
The evening includes a palace tour and musical concert.

5. Warangal Heritage Tour
May 14, 5:00 PM – Thousand Pillar Temple, Warangal Fort
22 American contestants will participate.

6. Ramappa Temple Visit
May 14, 4:30 PM – Ramappa Temple
35 European contestants will attend, with a Perini dance performance.

7. Yadagirigutta Temple Tour
May 15, 5:00 PM – Yadagirigutta
10 contestants from the Caribbean will take part.

8. Handloom Experiential Tour
May 15, 6:00 PM – Pochampally
25 African contestants will visit Telangana’s textile industry.

9. Medical Tourism Visit
May 16 – Hyderabad
Contestants will explore the state’s medical tourism sector.

10. Pillalamarri Visit
May 16 – Mahbubnagar
American contestants will visit the ancient banyan tree.

11. Eco Tourism Park Tour
May 16
24 Asian contestants will tour the eco-tourism park.

12. Sports Finale
May 17 – Gachibowli Stadium
Contestants will compete in the sports finale.

13. Ramoji Film City Tour
May 17
Delegates will visit the world’s largest film studio.

14. Safety Tourism Visit
May 18 – Integrated Command Control Centre
A visit to Telangana’s public safety monitoring facility.

15. Telangana Rising Vision Visit
May 18 evening – BR Ambedkar Secretariat
Includes visits to the Secretariat, Tank Bund, and Telangana Talli. Contestants will also join the Sunday Funday Carnival on Necklace Road.

16. Continental Finals
May 20–21
Fast-track selection events by continent.

17. IPL Semi-final Visit
May 20 or 21 – Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal
20 contestants from cricket-playing nations will attend.

18. Arts and Crafts Showcase
May 21 evening – Shilparamam
35 European contestants will explore DWCRA Bazaar stalls.

19. Miss World Talent Final
May 22 – Shilpakala Vedika
Contestants will perform in the talent segment.

20. Head-to-Head Challenge
May 23 – Trident Hotel
Contestants face off in direct interviews and presentations.

21. Top Model & Fashion Final
May 24 evening – Trident/Hitex
Fashion and jewelry shows will be held.

22. Beauty With a Purpose Dinner
May 24 – Hitex
A formal dinner celebrating contestants’ charitable initiatives.

23. Miss World Grand Final
May 31, Red Carpet at 5:30 PM; Main Event 10 PM to 1 AM
The new Miss World will be crowned during the final event.

24. Telangana State Formation Day
June 2 – Raj Bhavan
The new Miss World, continental winners, and Julia Morley will meet the Governor and Chief Minister over high tea.
