Minor girl found stabbed to death in Kukatpally

Hyderabad: A 10-year-old girl was found brutally stabbed to death at her residence in Sangeet Nagar under Kukatpally police limits of Cyberabad commissionerate on Tuesday. The victim, a sixth-class student, was home alone due to school holidays when the incident occurred.

According to police, they received a Dial 100 alert about a murder and immediately rushed to the spot. The girl’s father, who returned home for lunch around 12:50 PM, discovered her lying in a pool of blood in the bedroom. The parents had left for work around 9 AM, leaving the child alone.

Speaking to media DCP Balanagar K Suresh Kumar said, “The father alerted neighbors, who then informed the police. The parents didn’t suspect anyone yet, however investigation is going on to identify the suspects. Forensic teams, including the dog squad and clues team, have inspected the crime scene to gather evidence.”
