Traffic curbs in Hyderabad on September 14 for Milad-un-Nabi processions
HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced traffic restrictions across the city on September 14, 2025, in view of the Milad-un-Nabi peace processions. The curbs will be in force from 8.00 to 20.00 IST.
The main processions will cover the following routes:
Falaknuma to Volta Hotel via Charminar
Yahiya Pasha Dargah to Volta Hotel and back
Mecca Masjid to Haj House, Nampally
Mecca Masjid to Volta Hotel
Pattarghatti to Alijah Kotla
Diversions at major junctions
Traffic will be stopped or diverted depending on the movement of processions. The affected points include Falaknuma, Engine Bowli, Nagulchinta X Road, Himmatpura Junction, Volga, Haribowli, Panch Mohalla, Charminar, Gulzar House, Pattarghatti, Madina Junction, Delhi Gate, Nayapool, SJ Rotary Junction, Darulshifa, Purani Haveli, Mir Alam Mandi, Etebar Chowk, Alijah Kotla, Bibi Bazar, Volta Hotel, Afzalgunj T Junction, Osman Gunj, MJ Market Junction, Taj Island, Nampally T Junction, Haj House and AR Petrol Pump, Nampally.
Appeal to commuters
The advisory urged commuters to avoid the affected stretches and use alternative routes to reach their destinations. “In case of any emergency, citizens may contact the traffic helpline 9010203626 for travel assistance and are requested to cooperate with the Hyderabad Traffic Police,” said Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) D Joel Davis.
