HYDERABAD: SIT raids YSRCP MP Midhun Reddy’s houses

HYDERABAD:Â The Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Tuesday carried out searches at the residences and offices of YSR Congress Party MP Midhun Reddy in connection with the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam case.
Reddy has been named as Accused No. 4 in the case. He was earlier lodged in Rajahmundry Central Jail for about 72 days before being released on bail.
According to sources, SIT officials conducted searches simultaneously at four locations linked to the MP — including his properties in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Recently, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court granted Reddy bail in the case. He has also filed a petition in the same court seeking permission to travel to the United States. The SIT raids took place while the petition was still under consideration.
