Excise task force busts cocaine, OG Kush network in Medchal

MEDCHAL: The Excise Task Force in Medchal district seized cocaine and OG Kush worth ₹9 lakh in two separate cases, Excise Superintendent Shaik Fayazuddin said.

Officials recovered 76.77 grams of cocaine and 200 grams of OG Kush. Two persons were booked and a car was seized in the cases.

Cocaine seized during Suchitra Circle route check

During a route watch at Suchitra Circle, officials seized 76.77 grams of cocaine along with a car. Injot Singh Nagpal, 27, was arrested in the case.

During inquiry, the accused said he procured the cocaine from a person identified as Abduj near Bobrili Cape in Mumbai.

OG Kush traced to Telegram network

Acting on information that Manpreet Singh, 35, was procuring and selling OG Kush through the Telegram app, excise teams conducted checks in Hasmathpet under the supervision of DTF CI Narsireddy.

Officials seized 260 grams of OG Kush, a hybrid form of ganja, from him. The accused said the contraband was supplied by a person named Patyala from Tamil Nadu.

The cocaine case accused was handed over to Quthbullapur excise station, while the OG Kush case accused was handed over to Balanagar excise station.

AES Madhavaiah, DTF CI Narsireddy, SI Pawan Kumar Reddy and staff including Venteshwar Rao, Chennaiah, Srinivas, Jyothi, Teja and Munaf took part in the operation.
