MBT leader, Amjed Ullah Khan mets with accident in Malakpet
Malakpet: Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) leader Amjed Ullah Khan met with an accident and is under treatment in a private hospital on Tuesday. In an official statement released by MBT regarding the health update of Amjed Ullah Khan said, “Please pray for the recovery of Amjed Ullah Khan. He met with a bike accident and admitted in Yashoda hospital, Malakpet
According to the MBT leaders, Amjed Ullah Khan who was riding a two wheeler accidentally lost control of the bike and fell on the road at Akbar Bagh, Malakpet, Hyderabad resulting in severe injuries.
Amjed Ullah Khan was driving back home from Yashoda hospital when an auto part got stuck in the front tyre of his two wheeler near a petrol pump on Chanchalguda jail road at around 7 Am on Tuesday. Subsequently he lost control of the vehicle and fell down resulting in head injury and Two fractures in right hand. He was rushed to Yashoda hospital, Malakpet.
For years MBT has been a prominent opposition to the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). Particularly MBT leader Amjed Ullah Khan proactively engaged in solving the people’s issue and questioning the government over the rights of minorities throughout the state.
Earlier on Monday Amjed Ullah Khan, also the Spokesman MBT, spoke about the voting percent in the city. After casting his votes, he said “It is very astonishing that till 2:00 PM the muslim areas reported only 15% polling whereas other areas reported more than 40% polling”. Further Khan requested muslim voters of Hyderabad to come out and vote.
In the recently concluded Lok Sabha election MBT party also refrained from contesting the polls. Addressing a press conference then, MBT president Majeedullah Khan alias Farhath Khan said, “After much consultation with MBT leaders and workers and religious leaders it has been decided that MBT will not contest this Parliament Elections”.
Earlier Khan in an official statement said “If MBT Candidates take part there will be a split in muslim & secular hindu votes which may weaken secular forces and communal forces may come to power again and there dream to make India a Hindu Rashtra”.
