Video: Massive fire at firecracker shop at Hanuman Tekdi in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A massive fire erupted at a firecracker shop in Hanuman Tekdi area of Abids in Hyderabad on Sunday night. Several people including two women were reported to have sustained burn injuries in the fire incident.
Videos shared on social media platforms showed people scrambling to exit the shop after firecrackers accidentally caught fire causing a burst of flames. Local residents said loud explosions were heard as fire broke out.
Meanwhile, two fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames which threatened to spread to nearby buildings and business establishments.
