Eco-tourism experience inside Amrabad Tiger Reserve
The resort offers a tiger safari through the diverse terrain of the reserve, where visitors may sight wildlife such as chital, wild boar, nilgai and sambar. The reserve is also home to predators including leopards, dholes and tigers.
Nature enthusiasts can also participate in guided forest treks that allow visitors to observe birdlife, medicinal plants and the forest ecosystem of the Nallamala range. Early morning treks are organised to coincide with peak wildlife activity.
Before entering the forest, guests attend an orientation session at the Environmental Education Centre. The programme introduces visitors to the ecology of the tiger reserve, conservation efforts and guidelines for responsible wildlife viewing.

Chenchu tribal community engaged in eco-tourism
TGFDC officials said the eco-tourism programme also promotes local livelihoods.
Youth from nearby villages and members of the Chenchu tribe are involved in guiding, trekking assistance, hospitality and maintenance work at the resort.
The Chenchu community, indigenous to the Nallamala forests, possess traditional knowledge of wildlife and forest landscapes, which enriches the visitor experience, officials said.
Focus on regulated eco-tourism
The Mannanur Jungle Resort operates as a regulated eco-tourism programme with controlled visitor numbers and supervised activities.
Officials said the initiative aims to balance tourism with wildlife protection and environmental conservation while providing educational experiences for visitors.
