Fire breaks out in Manikonda apartment

HYDERABAD: A major fire broke out in an apartment complex in Manikonda on Sunday evening, triggering panic among residents.
The fire started in a flat at Alkapur Township and spread to other floors within minutes. Thick smoke engulfed the area, forcing residents to rush out of the building fearing for their lives.
Fire engines reach spot, operations underway
Two fire engines reached the spot soon after receiving information. Fire personnel are working to bring the blaze under control. Officials are also checking if anyone is trapped inside the building.
Electricity supply cut as precautionary measure
