Hyderabad man shares video evidence claiming ex-DEE wife takes bribes
Manikonda : In a strange twist of fate, a law abiding husband has set an example for the society by exposing the corruption activities of his wife, Divya Jyothi, who is a former Deputy Executive Engineer (DEE), Manikonda municipality.
The man identified as Suvarna Sripad had been noticing his wife Jyothi who would accept huge amounts of money as bribes from contractors and builders who would visit her for approvals for their works in Manikonda. He had reportedly asked her to mend her ways but she didn’t stop taking bribes.
Sripad was fed up with her bribery and corruption as he would find wads of money in every corner of their house. She had reportedly hid Rs. 20-30 lakhs in her house. As Jyothi allegedly continued with the corrupt activities, Sripad decided to take divorce from her and also wanted to expose her so she stopped taking bribes. With no hope left, he recorded the various spots in their house where Jyothi hid the money taken as a bribe. The video released by Sripad showing huge bundles of currency in his house has since gone viral on social media.
Meanwhile, Jyothi has responded to the allegations of corrupt activities levelled against her by her estranged husband. She denied taking any bribes and said her husband is deliberately spreading lies against her.
