In a tragic incident, a 24-year-old man lost his life in a road accident on his birthday late Tuesday night at Malakpet. The young man, identified as Mahesh Kumar, was a vegetable vendor from Saidabad. He was on his way to meet friends when the accident occurred, leading to his untimely death.
Mahesh celebrated his birthday with his family shortly after midnight. After cutting the birthday cake, he received a phone call from a friend inviting him to join them. Mahesh then left his house and rode his scooter to Nalgonda Crossroads to meet his friends.
However, the scooter lost control while riding near the Officer’s Mess function hall, possibly due to high speed. The vehicle skidded and crashed into an electric pole. Mahesh suffered severe injuries in the accident and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save him, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
According to local police, Mahesh was riding his scooter at a high speed and may have lost control, which led to the tragic accident.
