Malla Reddy meets CM Revanth Reddy, sparks speculations

Hyderabad: They say in a game of politics, there are no permanent enemies, and no permanent friends, only permanent interests. This was proved once again when Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS)’s Medchal MLA Malla Reddy called on the chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday.
Malla Reddy accomoanied by his son-in-law, Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajashekar Reddy drove to the chief minister’s residence in Hyderabad and met him. It is not clear what was the motive behind the meeting and what was discussed by them.
Until a few days ago, Malla Reddy went hammer and tongs against Revanth Reddy was seen paying a courtesy call to him today. Reports suggested Malla Reddy may have visited the chief minister to invite him for the upcoming wedding of his granddaughter and Marri Rajashekar Reddy’s daughter.
Later, it turned out Malla Reddy invited Revanth Reddy to their family wedding. The pics being shared on social media show him extending an invitation to the chief minister. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka was also present on the occasion.
It is pertinent to note that recently Malla Reddy and Mari Rajshekhar Reddy had met the Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu which led to speculations that the leaders will likley swicth loyalties and try to revive the almost defunct political party in Telangana. Former BRS MLA and ex-Mayor of Hyderabad Theegala Krishna Reddy also called on Naidu and said he would soon join the Telugu Desam Party.
