HYDERABAD: Malla Reddy on Wednesday dismissed speculation that his recent meeting with the Prime Minister signals a shift to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Meeting PM does not mean party switch

Reacting to ongoing political chatter, Malla Reddy questioned the logic behind such claims. “If someone meets the Prime Minister, does it mean they have joined the BJP?” he said, addressing reporters.

He added that such narratives are being spread outside without any basis and do not reflect his political position.

Reaffirms loyalty to BRS

Malla Reddy made it clear that he remains committed to the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). He said there is no question of leaving the party and urged people not to believe unverified reports.

The clarification comes amid heightened political activity in Telangana, where meetings between leaders across parties often trigger speculation about possible defections.
