Malkajgiri Police Mount Major Security Push with Charlapalli Railway Station Mock Drill
HYDERABAD: The Malkajgiri Police Commissionerate conducted a security mock drill at Charlapalli Railway Station to strengthen security preparedness and improve emergency response.
Police teams inspected the railway station and nearby areas. They assessed security arrangements, checked staff alertness and reviewed emergency response protocols. The drill helped evaluate preparedness and reinforce safety measures at a key public transport hub.
Visible policing across the commissionerate
The commissionerate also organised Visible Policing, Mee Suraksha and Nenu Saitham awareness programmes across its jurisdiction to enhance public safety.
Police personnel visited public places and commercial establishments. They urged owners to install and properly maintain CCTV cameras. Officers also educated the public about cybercrime prevention, road safety and the dangers of drug abuse.
Action against violations
Police took legal action against those who violated the law during the awareness and enforcement drive.
The commissionerate said it will continue to strengthen public safety through visible policing, regular awareness campaigns and active community engagement.
