Mahabubabad village mandates helmets for entry

MAHABUBABAD: A panchayat in Venkatrampuram village of Bayyaram mandal has decided that all two-wheeler riders must wear helmets to enter the village.
The village administration installed a flex banner at the boundary stating that entry will not be allowed without a helmet.

The decision follows recent suggestions by police under the ‘Arrive Alive’ road safety campaign to prevent accidents.
Sarpanch urges public cooperation on safety measure
Sarpanch Dharavath Shivaji urged residents and visitors to cooperate with the rule, stating it is aimed at ensuring the safety of vehicle users.
