Madhapur: Bike crash kills youth, pillion rider injured
MADHAPUR: A young man died after the motorcycle he was riding hit a divider near Khanamet on Wednesday night.
Polavarapu Tejas and Datti Mohith had left SS Premium PG in Bhikshapatinagar on a bike for Metal Charminar. When they reached Khanamet near Metal Charminar, the motorcycle lost control and crashed into a roadside divider.
Tejas, who was riding the bike, suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. Mohith, who was riding pillion, suffered minor injuries.
Tejas’s body was initially shifted to Kondapur government hospital and later to Osmania General Hospital.
Madhapur police registered a case and launched an investigation. Mohith is currently undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital.
